Midnight Preview

My life, you say? Why would you ask?  Ah. I see. You believe it is something of great value, and extraordinary adventures that it is worth hearing? I'm afraid you'd be mistaken. My story is one of sorrow, betrayal, regret, and many other things.  You see, unlike most beings, my birth wasn't planned at all.

My father had told me, however, when he saw me after I was born, he knew I was destined for something. He would never say what exactly, but later in my life, I would know. Perhaps though I'm going far too ahead of everything. First, allow me to describe myself. I am at least 8'4'', I am extremely pale (considering I was never allowed outside for more than 18 years, except at night, so no contact with the sun whatsoever), deep blue eyes that I've heard described as "midnight blue", and my hair goes to the spot in between my shoulders and it is a mix of black and red. However my most noticeable feature that everyone notices isn't my hair, eyes, or ghastly skin tone, it the bright blue star on my forehead.

The points of this star stretch from my hair line to in between my eyes at the bridge of my nose, and to either side of my forehead. It is very noticable, no matter how I arrange my hair. I was told by my father before my life went to hell that I was born with it because of what my mother is. Lily Anna was her name, and she was a very powerful Sorceress. I was told by many that she had been able to destroy a whole army with one of her "minor" spells. But she was more fond of prophecies, and curses.

Though the only thing I knew for the longest time about her was my father had to beg her to not kill me during her entire pregnancy. She had never wanted me, perhaps she knew what I was to become later in my life and actually didn't want to have to do that. I don't care though. Obviously, she ended up giving birth to me, but she had left my father after I was born.

Though my life... I suppose one could say I never actually learn from my mistakes, but I'll let you be the judge of that.
